Always something wrong....
« on: November 23, 2007, 10:55:40 AM »
Driving back from Sparwood on the weekend i started hearing a chik chik noise. Drove around on Monday and Tuesday till it started geting louder, parked it and waited till today to take a look. At idle in neutral i found the noise, if i put my ear up to were the engine block meets the tranny i can clearly hear the chik chik chik noise. I was thinkin realse bearing but it was in neutral so not engaged. The clutch it self i guess, but while driving on monday and tuesday the clutch wouldn't slip or anything, the faster i went though the louder it the noise got. I hear you should have an inch of free play in your clutch pedal before anything starts to engage, which i do. Any advice. Any shop you'd like to suggest, we usualy do everything oursleves but its winter and my buddies garage is only big enough to hold his tools and bikes...so little cold in the driveway.

Thanks
TC

I've used Quality Transmission on my Jeep, and they did great work at great prices.
