well to get back on track. im going to go with a carb. holley makes one for off roading. its the truck avenger. i know a buddy who has one and says its great. it advertises
flood free operation while at 40 degrees up hill climbing, 30 during side hills, and 30 degrees down hill.
im looking at a 670cfm and off of summitracing there around $500CDN to my door. which is alot cheaper then finding an efi engine or doing an EFI conversion which is around $2000 for the kit from holley.
and about bigger tires.... i love them.

do you have a 258 now cause a 360 amc would be a lot cheaper way to go than a cheby if you are going carbed. All you would need is the v-8 motor mounts everything else is a bolt on no adapters needed and in stock form the 360 has more power than a 350.
lots of friggin AMCs and Jeeps

well ive got the 350 out of my old chevy, so a free engine. i tore it all apart and im just some new heads, lifters, rv camp, new valves, ect. this was all stuff i wanted to do and then put back into the truck but im thinking ill just throw my 454, after all the goodies are in it of course, back into the chev. so i have an engine already. and im not going to lie... im a gm guy. i love the 350.
