Post by: Corey on June 24, 2009, 11:56:58 AM
Can you just use 1" spacers or do you need to put a whole 1" bar drill holes and longer bolts?

You can use washers/spacers/bar whatever you want with some longer bolts to make a tcase drop

Now what size and where can I find longer bolts that won't break under pressure?

why are you thinking about a T case drop
are you having vib issues or are you lifted
maybe theres another way like a 1.25" body lift and a 1" motor mount lift will help reduce vibs

I have a 2.5"lift and a 2" body lift and the drive angles are causing me to tear out my transmision mounts and causing lots of vibrations!

well i would consider a motor mount lift then if you already have the body lift . mine as well keep the skid plate as high as you can since we all know how low they hang

im running a 4" suspension 1.25" body lift and a 1" motor mount lift and a stock drive shaft and all is good

Wouldn't a motor mount lift cause the fan to hit the shroud?

not if you have a body lift .. what kind of motor do you have 4 or 6 and have you moved your shroud when you did you body lift
