nice, waiting for warranty to expire or going to start modding right away?

-
Man that's a nice looking jk.  Black black and more black, I like it.

-
Painted fender flares on a Rubicon? You must have special ordered that from the factory - unless they've changed how they come for 2012. Looks sharp!

Either that or he brought rubicon stickers with him to the dealership :P

 Nice ride

2012 jk's have the option for paint matched flenders. and... 3.73 axle gears are an option on the rubi's as well.

I can wrap my head around the paint matched fenders (even though it's not my thing.....), but I don't get putting 3.73's in a rubi :o
-
Nicely done Dan! Finally got the Rubi eh :D

-
				looks real pretty!

 good job:)
-
Has everyone forgotten I'm a manager at a Jeep dealer here in Calgary? ???  Sure hope you were treated well over there.

Congrats on the new baby Dan!!!!!

This one is actually the wife's.  Likely won't be doing many mods to this one...though I am going to try and talk her into letting me take it out on the 26th.

Ya, I don't love the matched flares but they aren't the worst thing in the world.  3.73's were a big no...I wouldn't have let her buy the Rubi if that's what was in there.

Haven't forgotten Rob.  We have a long time friend of myself and my wife's that sells at Crowfoot, so that's why I went there.

Now I just need to convince the wife that I should trade in the Sahara for another new Rubi...

All good Dan ;)  Just lookin' out for me Jeep buds ;D

-
Looks great... I like the new interiors.

-
Does it have the new pentastar motor? If so what's it like?

-
Yep has the new engine.  Has a lot more power. It actually sucks you into the seats a bit when you put the pedal down.

I don't have any experience with the old 4.0L but I have read a couple of reviews that have said the new engine feels like the old one for usable torque. According to any dyno graphs I have seen you have about 95% of the usable torque at 2000rpm then it pretty much stays flat.
-
Sounds impressive. The 4 door sure could use the hp for some help.

-
This is the Dyno graph for all the reviews.
