Title: New to Calgary
Post by: jeepaddict108 on March 02, 2014, 01:18:47 PM: Hi everyone, i am new to Calgary and just wanted to say hello and introduce myself and my Jeep. I am from Niagara Falls ON and i have been in Calgary for 2 weeks now. I drive a 2000 cherokee sitting on 6 inches and 33(pics to come as soon as i figure out how to post haha). I am looking forward to meeting some fellow jeep enthusists and cant wait to hit some trails in Calgary. I am well known and involved in the jeep and offroad community in Ontario.

Post by: hps4evr on March 02, 2014, 05:37:03 PM: Welcome to Alberta. You'll find that there is a variety of trails to choose from. Trails are as close as 30 minutes away in summer. Which is very nice. The views are always amazing. Keep an eye on the open-run section for trail runs. There should be an official club run in mid March, the weekend after the clubs monthly meeting.

Im still figuring out how to add some pics from my phone im hoping to.post some tonight. I heard about Waiporous and Mclean Creek and took a drive down last weekend but did not go on any trails as i wasnt sure how it works around here as in Ontario we have an official season start and finish but def looking forward to mid march

Were you on the JeepKings site at all ? I've run into a few guys/gals from that forum that moved here.

Pick N Pull is always a great spot for XJ parts :) What are you looking for exactly?

Crossmember - pickNpull for sure. Water pump and rad I would just call around for best price...Auto Value, Crappy Tire, Part Source.
