New to Calgary

Hi everyone, i am new to Calgary and just wanted to say hello and introduce myself and my Jeep. I am from Niagara Falls ON and i have been in Calgary for 2 weeks now. I drive a 2000 cherokee sitting on 6 inches and 33(pics to come as soon as i figure out how to post haha).   I am looking forward to meeting some fellow jeep enthusists and cant wait to hit some trails in Calgary. I am well known and involved in the jeep and offroad community in Ontario.

Welcome to Calgary. We have everything for wheelin here. Some rocks, some hills, some offcamber, some ruts, some hills and some mud. There is an element here that likes to avoid mud.

Welcome to Alberta. You'll find that there is a variety of trails to choose from. Trails are as close as 30 minutes away in summer. Which is very nice. The views are always amazing. Keep an eye on the open-run section for trail runs. There should be an official club run in mid March, the weekend after the clubs monthly meeting.

thanks for the welcome guys, i will be attending the Club run in March, i had posted up earlier. Im still figuring out how to add some pics from my phone im hoping to.post some tonight. I heard about Waiporous  and Mclean Creek and took a drive down last weekend but did not go on any trails as i wasnt sure how it works around here as in Ontario we have an official season start and finish but def looking forward to mid march

hey, can anyone recommend somewhere where i can get a a couple minor welds done and a good place to get parts for a reasonable price in Calgary.  I need to replace a few parts and am thinking of possibly getting it checked out somewhere and going from there. Thanks
