Is this "The steps" right after the field with steep shale walls?

I don't think so..this trail is pretty hidden... one has to look for it.

I don't think so...but you could start a thread in "Member's trail reports" for it  :)
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

the problem with maps is they get into the wrong hands.  why let 10,000 retards in lifted F350 type trucks know where our favorite spots are?  or worse, all the high school kids who wanna break mom's new toyota.  have fun but keep your maps to yourself and close friends.  in the least, don't post them here please.

Yah I hear what you are saying. I was thinking mostly for myself and my group here in southern Alberta, but it would be something I would offer to CJA members as well. I feel that most of the dedicated CJA members would appreciate a map such as this.
First completed AEV Rubicon in Alberta and only the fourth in Canada!

I do remember fondly a run with the crew that lasted 12 hours... I think Brink had to leave his rig out there that night. Twisted tie rod... Good times back then.

In my opinion, there aren't enough hard obstacles to justify a map or any labeling.

Typically a McLean run consists of hauling arse as fast as you can to "Rock A"... Driving up that, then hauling arse as fast as you can to "Rock B", etc etc...

I wouldnt say there are many difficult trails, but there are a few obstacles out there.

I think two of the tougher trails are in Waiporous .
First one would be Danny,s crack I drove up it about two hundred yards or so and was overwhelmed by the top of the bank above the roof and about eight feet under the diffs, I backed down. It is only  max of less then a mile  but very technical . Tom may know this one as a two tracker trail. It would be up ther with kc line or stupid does steep trail.
The other would be the Lord,s ladder ( front side of mockingbird )  Closed with berms about twenty years ago to fourwheelers . When it was open on a bad year 3 or 4 people would die on it every year. Now every couple of years only the odd quader or dirt bike driver wrangles around  the barriers and does himself in .
