Electric power Question....

1st Question.... one of the two power ports not working on my 05 TJ... the one closer to the driver side. All fuses seem fine. ?? Wires are all good.. so it seems. 2nd Question. Where is the best spot to pull power from to add CB and or extra lights... years back I used to jump from the fuse box... is there a better spot or method to use that is safe...? Sorry if this seems simple to some of you compared to some of the bigger tech stuff you have done... Thanks for any help..

best spot is always right off the battery. if you need to run it off ignition, then you can use a relay off the fuse box for ignition sense and still have the main power from battery. most relays are 30amp so good enough for most applications.
