84th at 16th and 17th has lights. And recently upgraded turning lanes, etc.
I work (currently) on 84th, just north of Glenmore. I commute at off peak hours, and I take the 'Foot to 16th, then 84th south to the yard.
84th doesnt quite make it to McKnight or Country Hills anymore, there is a bypass to Garden Road, and that heads north to connect.
As for 84th, single lane, lots of trucks, but they turn off at 16th typically. A couple of railroad crossings, of which I was held up once at 05:30 heading home (hence the off-peak hours). All in all, not too bad. Though I don't know what its like in the middle of the rush hour.
