Bleeding the brakes
« on: April 24, 2009, 07:44:22 PM »
I picked up and installed a hydroboost system from PNP from a 79 one tonne Chevy into my 94 YJ with Chevy axles.  The problem is I can't seem to get much pressure on the lines when bleeding.  I think the MC might be pooched but I don't know enough about them to make that assumption.  I tried bleeding the brakes starting at the RR wheel.  The first push on the peddle gives not bad results but it get progressively worse to where if you hold your finger over the end of the line there is almost no pressure at all.  The other thing is that the peddle doesn't seem to return very quickly at all.  Any help from the mechanics out there would be helpful.

THanks
