been along time since last post. So HI
Ok, I originally lifted my jeep with a 4" RE kit. It came with everything. I installed the T-case lowering kit and the shims for the axle. But now I have a SYE in the T case and proper driveshaft from DSI. I have been driving it for well over a year now, and never thought any different. As of 10 minutes ago I was wondering if I was supposed to pull the lowering kit and the axle shims?
thanks
Mike

when I did my lift I had the T case lowered, but when I put in the SYE I took the spacers out so it was back like stock, I would leave the shims in though so the pinion is pointing at the T case

If the u-joint angles are good, the t-case drop doesn't bother you and it doesn't vibrate I'd leave it.

With the length gained from the SYE you can remove the t-case drop but the shims are a must. Ideally the pinion should be pointing at the t-case yoke, but if you are a little lower that is not a problem. My pinion does not setup perfectly but works fine
