4 lo is a no go
« on: August 25, 2009, 05:24:35 PM »
So i put on my 3" lift for my TJ with a T-case Drop, all is fine. I had clearance issues with my shifter going into the lower gear (2,4,R) so i took the boot off and its perfect. But...4 low wont go into 4 lo. 2, 4 Hi Neutral are all fine....do I just need to shave the plastic back a bit same as the shifter? or is something more drastic neccesary?

No, you just need to adjust the rod to correct the placement of the shifter throw.

I think what Bnine is explaining to you is do not cut any plastic, crawl underneath the jeep, find the linkage adjust screw & muck wit it.
