removing chrome
« on: November 01, 2010, 09:30:27 PM »
i think someone posted this same question recently. i need to get chrome off some steel wheels i just picked up. i havent made any attempts yet, figured id see if anyone has tried this. in my opinion chrome dont get ya home so its gotta go. im sure as per usual flat black will replace it.
and id prefer to keep it cheap. sand blasting may work, but if it costs more to blast them then to buy black wheels then that option is out.

just re-read the other post... may have to look into blasting anyways.
