CB Radio Question

Does the CB unit itself have to be grounded. :-X
03 TJ, 4" lift, 33's, Eaton eLockers- Front & Rear, winch, CB

yes.  there is a power + and a power - that should be attached to the battery.

there is a good chance the cb might work without the power - attached because it can steal ground from the antenna.

I ran my power + directly to the post on the fuse box and grounded my power - to a ground under the dash just last night.  Going to your batter can pick up interfearance if you have other things running to the battery also.

I ran both wires directly to the battery and used inline fuses in both positive and negative.

Battery is grounded to frame so you can ground the CB unit itself to anywhere on the frame.
