yup.  believe it or not.  Mucho more classy on the inside.  This city rules for ethnic foods.  Best Donair: 52nd and 17th by Zellers "Desert Cafe".  Avocado for Mexican (I would really like any other suggestions for Mexican) or Empanada Queen (behind Marlborough mall).  Vietnamese subs right next to the ESSO in Forrest lawn (don't remember the name FFWD Mag named best in Calgary though you should be able to Google).  Filipino corner of memorial and 68th = amazingness.  I'm a sucker for ethnic foods.  Still looking for a cheaper Thai experience as "King and I" = expensive, but good.

Better Filipino at Pacific Hut in forest lawn. If you are standing outside big al's looking south, you are looking at pacific hut.

Toms donair place is awesome. Another good one is in riverbend where the old auto value used to be. Beside the police station.

Not sure if its around, but I used to go to an east african place downtown around 10 ave and about 11 street. Dingy, and scary, but awesome spicey beef dish with this really good bread that is similar to indian nan bread.

Donairs. i almost do not want to share this but, Jimmys at 19th ave and 13th st NW. i dare you to eat the entire large. Too much meat!

I love Jimmy's, the large chicken shawarma is one of my favorite "fast" dishes in Calgary.
