4WD Problems - FIXED
« on: November 23, 2006, 09:07:47 PM »
Anyone have any idea why my 4wd would stop working out of the blue?  When I switch to 4 high nothing happens and when I switch to 4 lo it seems to be 2 lo.  And the 4wd light is not coming on now (i guess because it is not engaging).  Any ideas?

Cheers

that is the front axle disconnect vacumn piece of crud acting up  ... crawl underneath and check to see if all you vacumn lines are still attached... it just takes one to fall off in that system and suddenly your in 2 wheel drive  .   if that doesn't solve it.. check to see that you didn't break the shift fork in the front axle.... been known to happen.
