dunno if i have right tot alk in here but i have run both Mig and stick at school actually even recently got into tig... i personally find MIG the easiest of em all.... at home here im runnin a 110V Lincoln with fluxcore and it works well for what i need.... would like 220 and a gas kit bit i wont complane at least i can weld here now

If yuo want to do body panels then a mig is the way to go, arc will just burn thru.

And another thumbs up for the Millar 175, I've done tons of welding with mine, from body work to bumpers, havn't had anything fail yet(knock on wood) and have yet to turn it up to its highest setting. Definatly get gas, expensive to refill but gives a WAY better result.

This is the welder that i am looking at from Canadian Tire.....

Lincoln Electric MIG Pak 15
230V with 3 year warranty
MIG/FLux core
Retail about $790 (Sale price would be better....lol)
includes 2 rolls of wire, mask, video, brush and hammer
Recommended autobody to 5/16" mid steel, stainless and aluminum

Any comments about this welder?

check out the linclon 230 at homedepot for about the same price you getting a more gear( gas kit )

Thanks for the reply. It is "more" stuff for a lesser price, but I will be getting it for a little... cheaper from CT. There aren't many HD around here....lol
