RC Crawling
« on: May 12, 2008, 05:54:58 PM »
I have been interested in getting into the RC world of rock crawling, ever since I read an article on the RC enthusiasts in the Nov, '05 issue of 4x4 Builder.

I have looked around a bit on the web and found some stuff, but is there anywhere in calgary that anyone knows of to go and check out some of those little rigs first hand?

PM hobbies (3 nd ave) has a bunch of display units but their for sale stock was nonexistent last time  I was there.
Hobby guys (16th ave just east of center st) has several as well, though not as broad a selection as the above when they have stock.

Have you seen some of the utube vids on RC rock crawling?

Some of them models are very well done... down to knicks  and scrapes.
Little tire carriers and cages... it's awesome!
