I have been slowly working to get the Grand Floppy back on the road since i have moved to sask last september... at that time it was mainly just replacing some parts that were worn or required upgrading, building a rear bumper, fender flares and such. But the government issurance company here, SGI ... meaning publicly owned... has passed new legislation on Raised Vehicles
. As it stands right now, my ZJ doesn't stand a chance of being street legal without some serious investment in time and money
. My list of things that have to be done has grown to the point that i may just sell it or part it out.
All of the people that work out in the oilfield and drive those nice lifted diesels on 35" plus tires are screwed
they don't meet bumper height requirements and exceed the maximun tire size of 34".
so if you are looking for an eye opening read on what the governments of this democratic country are trying to do click on the following link and then click on policy on the left side menu.
