U-joints
« on: August 21, 2008, 09:08:45 PM »
anyone know where I  can get a 1310/1330 combo U-joint?  I bought my new drive shaft from DSI and didn't realize that the rear yoke in 94/95 YJ's is 1330.

Pats driveline or DSI should have them

Or you could change the yoke to a 1310 yoke then no special parts are required , you can get 131o joints anywhere

I Second changing the yoke to make it easier.  I was going to run the combo joint but decided to just change out the yoke so everything was 1310.

I did buy a combo joint at one point tho... think I got it at Napa.  I may still have it around if you are really interested... brand new in the box.

I ran a combo joint in my YJ for a couple years before I got a CV driveshaft.  They can cause vibration and I would definitely recommend changing the yoke to a 1310.  FYI, there are 2 different yokes for the D35 and they are different length
