What is the bolt pattern on an 87 YJ
« on: October 08, 2008, 09:33:33 PM »
I pulled the factory jeep wheels thinking they were 4.5 on 5 they turned out to be 4.25 on 5. Is this a 87 88 thing or just 87 or WTF. I thought they were all 4.5 on 5 -87 and  up.

ive never heard of that bolt pattern. and as far as ive seen and heard it should be 5x4.5, but, it could be an odd metric pattern. or something is awry...

Don't know if this helps but I think you have to measure from outside of 1 stud to centre of another, not centre to centre.
