New winter project

I'm getting tired of looking at all the various parts around my yard so I'm going to try and make something from them.  I have got an early 80's waggy frame or an 86 cj7 frame, waggy 44, HD AMC20, CJ7 comp cut tub and front clip, waggy springs for spring over, and either a TF 727 or T176 trannys. 

The original plan is to use the CJ7 frame, spring over with the waggy springs and the Dana 44 and HD AMC 20.  I have  the high steer knuckles also so that problem should be solved.  These axles have 6 lug bolt patterns which I have the rims for.  I am going to scavenge the motor, an AMC 360, tires 36x12.5x15 TSL's from my current tired cj7.  I am torn between using the auto or the standard tranny, your thoughts would be appreciated, i might also look to get a T18.  THe tcase will probably be the NP208 out of the waggy just to  match the drivers side drop.   The waggy springs should give me about 4" more wheel base (every little bit helps).  I would welcome any comments on this project.  Also any info on the best way to re enforce the frame would help.

i think the auto trans would be a better bet with the 360. thats a big engine and i know the auto will hold up with big tires and big V8, whereas i dont think the t176 was all that crap hot. if you dont find the t18 then go auto.
thats a good parts list you got goin. beef the frame up. lockers and gears and i think it will turn out swell;)
that HD AMC20 is from a fullsize jeep right? i heard they are better then the CJ amc20's. not sure if they still need an axle truss though. might wanna confirm that.

thanks for the link.  I do have a detriot and 456's in my cj amc 20, going into the fsj 20.  The fsj 20 is better, stock 1 piece axles, thicker tubes 6 bult hubs.  The only thing is i will need a set of gears for the 44.  Anyone have set for sale or trade?  Moving the locker over leaves that axle empty so i will have a set of one piece axles for a wide track amc2o from an 86cj7 for sale.

If i use the auto tranny stopping will be an issue.  4 wheel discs are in order or does anyone know about getting a lockup torque converter or manual valve body?  I dont know much about auto trannies.
