remote car starters

hey guys, so i know its not for a jeep, but i'm looking to get one for my sister for christmas, she has a 06 Pontiac Pursuit, and of course its a standard.  I'm just looking on ideas as to where i can get a semi decent starter, and more importantly have it installed correctly, hopefully without breaking the bank

Quinn has a really, really bad reputation around town with car enthusiasts.....

called quinn, it was a little pricey.... too much so.  future shop wasn't terrible, was 300 installed. i thought that wasn't terrible........ will call visions and auto temp tomorrow

I have one installed new on my 05 TJ (manual) which has literally never been used once. The dealer had VIBE in Red Deer do the work. They're a client of ours and do good work.

If a removal from the Jeep and install on your sister's car could be swung at Vibe, I'd sell it to you cheap. It's dumb sitting there never being used.

     My last starter was installed by Visions in my '07 Savana. It went back five times before it worked properly. That annoyed me, but the fact they made me a priority until I was happy means I'd use them again.

I worked for a&b Sound for years, to bad they are gone...    I would go with Visions, I know a few ppl from a&b that work there now and the lifetime install is key.  I'd stay away from Future Shop and Best Buy, I worked for them as well.   Some of their installers are good, but I personally would rather support a Canadian owned company.  I think Audio Concepts is a good choise too, I used to work with the manager, quality products and installation.

I had mine done in my work van (alarm/starter combo) for $500 installed. worked great, never had an issue. I'll use them again.
