Chrysler to sell Jeep?

There are reports circulating that Chrysler is thinking of selling Jeep to Nissan-Renault, both parties are of course denying this.  Anyone else heard this?  I saw it on the BNN channel and numerous goggle articles.  Would this be a good thing? Or are Jeeps as we know them today in danger of a major overhaul and re-design?  Wait and see.

Funny, people said the same when Chrysler took jeep over from American Motors around 1985 or there abouts. And thats when the REAL spontaneous jeep wave was actually lost forever.

By the way, a little read up on Wiki shows that American Motors and Renault were already partnered up from 1970-1987.

And then I say all hell broke loose and Chrysler added the rest of the alphabetically named jeeps and continued adding on  more cosmetic bling and plastic over the years till you finally come up with the one jeep they have strived for.......a Hummer look alike.   ;D ;)

We should still buy it,.  LOL

maybe we can get a grant from Stelmach or a loan from the heritage fund to buy it and move the center of operations here :D

i dont know if the dude was pulling my leg, but someon at my dodge dealer told me today that Fiat bought 35% of chrysler.
