XJ Suspension?

how much lift can i put in the front without needing new control arms? can i just do LCA's?  trying to figure out what i will need to run 5"s up front

you'll need lowers and uppers buddy.  you could probably get away with just lowers, but might as well do it right

I did 4.5" on my '89 XJ with stock arms, was all right but broke quite a few arms....

I would highly recommend using a kit then you will have everything. I have Rubicon express 3.5 inc in my 95 XJ and love it
