heater problems
« on: October 23, 2005, 01:14:26 PM »
I have an 88 YJ and my heater doesn't blow air unless I'm driving so I'm assuming thats just the air that gets forced thru the vent.  Is it a big job to take apart the dash to get at the heater etc to fix it?  Thanks in advance.

Not too bad of a job.Need to take out the glove box and battery tray though.Don't waste yer time with a stock motor, get one for a Chev truck(mine's for a '90 Suburban), you only need to open up the hole in the firewall a little and they blow three times as hard! Wish I'd done it 15 years ago when it was new!
