I plan on replacing my 94 yj 2.5l with a 4.0l H.O out of a 92 xj. I am told that the firewall computer connectors on a yj are the same for the 4.0 H.O and the 2.5, but the xj connectors are different so i need a computer out of a yj 4.0l H.O. and have to wire in # 5 and 6 cyl. So my question is, can i take the bulkhead connector off the xj computer and put the yj connector on if i get the wiring placement diagram? just seems like a waste of money when i know the computer out of the xj is good and the xj runs like a top. any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
