so today coming back from lunch at the intersection of Glenmore and Mcleod i was almost Tboned by someone turning left (coming south on mcleod turning onto glenmore)  my light turned green so i went.  in the middle of the intersection slam on brakes cause a minivan was comin right at me. he swerves around me and onto the little turnaround part on glenmore and the glenmore onramp.  yes. this scared me and fumed me off. that light was red for like 5 seconds.

this morning. someone at chinook runs another advanced green after it turns red. gets smacked really good. write off of the car.

it seems more and more i look for it, people are running reds on left hand turns, and not a yellow going red. a full blown red, you can see traffic starting to move on the other side cause they have a green light, yet some people chance it on that left.

I'm just wondering how many jeepers do the same thing.   I cast my vote as NO i don't wanna get tboned.   just wonderin if anyone else gets angry at said situation...... or if ur the cause.

I think thats a winter thing.  Everyone thinks that because it's a little icy out they can run a red light and say they didn't have room to stop, even if they have room to stop.
I just can’t resist a good mud hole!  🤦

ya i understand that on a monday morning when its been snowing all night.

today tho, roads are more than clear.  i don't think bad roads can be an excuse when i'm 3/4 of the way through the intersection.  obviously i had good traction to take off u know?

i never do that. Its very offensive. As yet another part of my checklist, i clear the intersection before moving on a green. i do like to SCARE the late left turners though. Come right at them with HORN blaring...

Yep, always check both ways before crossing an intersection.  You don't want to get T boned, especially in a Jeep.......
