Windshield Glass
« on: April 13, 2009, 07:46:07 PM »
Well now that winter is over...some what... its time to do a windshield on the jeep.  I was wondering if anyone knows somewhere or someone that does them for a good price?  Maybe a bunch of us could assembly in one place and have a BBQ/windshield replacement party?  I need to paint my frame so I am willing to do most if not all of the prep work.

Let me know if you know a guy who knows a guy.

What he said!
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

Well he's in KimberleyBC......but his name is Chris. Affordable Autoglass. 250-421-9082. If you guys are ever down this way give him a call for a windshield. Like I said most vehicles are gonna be around $200 installed.

Ah. Not quite as convenient as I had hoped.

Oh well...next time I'm going through Kimberly to pick up Turkey Jerky, I'll look into it!

I've always gone here.  $170ish sounds right, the TJ might have been cheaper, I can't remember.  Was even this price for my cherokee and work truck.

Yeah,  the wj and gmc trucks were both 185ish after tax.  I can't remember if the TJ was cheaper.

So did some research and confirmed the price of $185 installed at National Automotive. I also got in touch with a guy who does mobile installs and has done a couple of the work trucks here at our shop. He said he would be willing to give a discount if we had 8-10 windshields for him to do at once. I am going to iron out pricing for it but if the price is alright would there be 8-10 people interested?

BBQ, beer and windshield party is in the works...now we just need  a place with room for 8-10 jeeps.  I'll keep everyone posted on the price points.

Deerfoot Mall parking lot?  I'm in on this, could use a new windsheild.
I just can’t resist a good mud hole!  🤦
