So did some research and confirmed the price of $185 installed at National Automotive. I also got in touch with a guy who does mobile installs and has done a couple of the work trucks here at our shop. He said he would be willing to give a discount if we had 8-10 windshields for him to do at once. I am going to iron out pricing for it but if the price is alright would there be 8-10 people interested?

BBQ, beer and windshield party is in the works...now we just need  a place with room for 8-10 jeeps.  I'll keep everyone posted on the price points.

If my finances hold up I'm in, just have to make sure the money stays around long enough -

Tell you what guys, I had a little chat with the mobile guy we have used here at work and he mentioned that the discount for doing a bunch of multiples wouldn't really be all that great. He figured he could maybe get away with charging 10 buck less. That being said I think its best if I just give out his contact details so everyone can get a price from him.  I mentioned that I was going to give out his info on the site and he was pretty excited and said he would try and take care of every one.  He is mobile so the nice thing is he can come over and do it at your house or work.  Contact details are as follows:

Mobile Windshield Replacement
Lance Purchase
403.616.4957

Give him a call, mention the jeep club forum and he should hook you up with a decent rate. Seems like a really good guy and has done some work around our shop before.  So much for the BBQ. Let me know if you use him.
Buy some safety glasses.

I made some phone calls today for my TJ...Windsheild Surgeons are $175 installed, and Cal-Alta Auto glass is $195.  I asked if they would match the Surgeons as they are closer to where I work, but they say they use cheaper "different" glass.  Is there a big difference?

Just had my windshield replaced for $169.00 by Darryl at Carmel Glass. New seal came free with the install and it's a PGW not the cheap glass. Next day mobile service!

If anyone is interested his number is 403-613-4162
