Long time since I have been here
« on: April 15, 2009, 11:35:34 PM »
It has been a long time since I was here, I sold my CJ almost 3 years ago and still miss it, the main reason was the fact that the loss of offroad areas and the CJ spent more time in the garage than on the road.

I have been toying with buying a YJ and getting back into the game but am unsure what the conditions are like at Maclean and if anything has happened with Waiporous (the last time I was out there my 2wd Ranger could do the trails left in an hour).

There are still lots of trails left in the province. You just have to travel a bit to get to them. When I was in Calgary I felt spoiled that the trails where about an hour away. When I was in Ontario we would travel 4 hour the night before to wheel. Now that I am in Red Deer I miss the convince but have found though joining multiple clubs that there is still trails out their. I just have to travel. So brake out the tent and away we go.

If you are looking at a YJ don’t forget about the XJs  ;D
Why does your Jeep say Toyota on it?
The obstacle is the path.
