so i have a second cab and plan on starting on a twin cab fc over next winter
so first i need to get fc running and inspected
then i gootta get the commando finished
then its a custom time
basicaly i have to stretch the frame already for the quad cab. seeing as the spare cab also has the engine bump i have room for two engines.
bolting in the engines is not the part that concerns me, it how do it bolt them togehter. im thinking the rear super hurricane will bolt to the tranny as per stock. the forward engine i was gonna use the factory clutch and then somehow connect it to the the cranck of the rear engine. i figure the front clutch will be connected to something like an ebrake handle to release it so i dont need to turn both engines when i dont need them.
i figure ill need some kind of snubber between the engines. i figure the 700r4 will hold up to the wopping 200 hp both engines will put out ( stock is 95 hp each)
i also plan on triing to stroke the engines a little as i have room at 6:1 in stock form
so i guess ill need to get a second engine running. anyone have a spare super hurricane that isnt seized. my 2 spares are sezied. i guess ill need to work on them to. time for buget rebuilds!
oh an the cabs are going to be able to tilt as well as mounted on air bags as the cab overs are a rough drive ( at least all the heavy ones ive driven)
so realy i want to know how to conect the engines. how did the twin engine drag cars do it?
http://twotogo.homestead.com/so try some eye candy if you like twin engine dragsters. sadly they dont have any tech
