Is there a good transmission that will bolt to a 258 ci with Dana 300 t-case

I currently have a 1980 cj7 with 258ci. 4 spd. standard to a dana 300 t-case I think the tranny is going and I want to upgrade it to a stronger trans. does anyone know if there is anything that will bolt up to this motor and this transfer case. as inexpensively as possible. I want to used this as a hunting and fishing vehicle and I want it as reliable as possible.

If you can find a jeep t18 out of a j truck it will fit or a T176 out of a CJ with a 304.  I have one but not sure on condition it had some play in the shifter when going into 3rd.  If didn't grind just had to shift the right way. I think I would let it go for 24 silver bullets. No guaranties
