brake bleeding

so. replaced front calipers on the YJ. no biggie right?  goto bleed the lines and find two things. first, when i put the brake lines on the washers i used were pooched, and the brake fluid all leaked out at the caliper end drivers side.  not good. so goto bleed them today (after new washers are used on banjo bolts) and i cant' get them even close to driveable... so i figured air had gotten into the master cylinder from the brake line being loose.  

heres what i've done;  being stupid i started with the drivers front.  i know. rookie stupidness. so i go to the rear passengers, bleed it. it looks good. no bubbles.  drivers rear, no bubbles.  the fronts now look good. but brake pedal is to the floor. there is air in there somewhere and its pissing me off.  also, when we depress the brake pedal, fluid literally squirts out the master cylinder.  why?

can someone steer me in the right direction? i'm thinkin ofjust pushing tonnes of fluid through at the rear wheel. or do i have to bleed the master cylinder (is that even possible?) 

just another tid bit. pushing pedal to the floor and fluid is burping out the front of the master cylinder.

If fluid is coming out the front of the master cylinder its probably humped and will need to be replaced.

put the cap back on the master cylinder?

i think so, bonehead move of the year thus far. put calipers on backwards so bleed screw was on the bottom.     i didn't even look at it when i put the calipers on (they slid on fine too)  didn't notice it till i talked to phill and he said something bout it haha.  gonna give her a go tonight, but i think thats it.....  then its onto the ARB leak...............
