I'd think that all you'd have to do is get the 31 or 32 inch tire that your Sahara came with replaced with a 33 that matches your other four tires. You can then put it on the stock spare carrier. From everything I've read, you can put a 33 on there without issues. I've even heard of some guys running 35's on there, but that's a fair amount of weight to hang off of that sheet metal.

That might be worth trying. Okay, dumb question time, I got the tires with the jeep so where in Calgary is the best place to buy procomp tires and rims?

33's on stock tire carrier on JK is no problem. Some guy here was running a 37 on it for a while.

LAHAL is confirmed for Sunday.

I'll be bringing my better half, and my fuzzy little friend. It will be my fuzzy little friend first time 4x4ing, she better not make a mess in the back.

National 4wd has some for sure. They are across the street from Blackfoot Motorcycles.

Cool, thanks. Not sure how quickly I can get a tire, so probably won't be out Sunday.

Talk real nice to the guys at National.  They "may" be able to hook you up in time.

This sucks, I would love to join you guys, but I don't have a full-size spare. the rear tow-point I can take care of tomorrow, but I am not sure where to purchase or how to attach a 33" procomp tire. Is a full-size spare a usual requirement for these kind of runs?

i was in your same spot 3 months ago .. just go post something in the needed section someone might be nice and lend you one for the day .. thats what buddy did for me

as for 33 it will fit on the back of a TJ  and if you have a JK a 35 will fit there as well .. ull just have to give your door a bit of a slam to close it .

National, Modern...even "mainstream" tire places may be able to get you what you need.

A wheel and tire that match what you're running for the other four are ideal. Then you can run a 5 tire rotation. If you can't get that, just about anything that 's a 33" that will mate up with your JK's 5 on 5 bolt pattern will "git 'er dun" when push comes to shove.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

For sure. The insistence on a full sized spare is more about "oops" that seem to result sidewalls getting torn open. A lot of us carry cans of ether, plug kits, compressors...you name it. But there's some things that you just can't fix on the trail. :o

Like broken valve stems on those new JK's with their sensors and stuff...   That would never happen... oh wait... it did TODAY.   Hopefully, you can get it fixed before tomorrow.

Anyone got an extra full size spare to fit a JK so the W Squared can join us?

W square messed his valve stem .. just change it for a normal stem all its going to do is set off a little lite on your dash no biggy .

Not sure if it will fit. The JK valve stems are metal.
