just wondering what a set of rubicon (stock) fender flares go for these days? i'm thinkin of going with some 7" wide ones but would like to know if ican save some coinage by selling the rubicon ones.

How much coverage are you looking for Pat? I have used black "lawn edgeing" material to get a little coverage in conjunction with stock flares in the past. Looks good if done properly, and kept it's shape after years of abuse. Uber cheap!

I don't have any pics that I can find that are of any good Pat. I just used black lawn edgeing and cut it to length. I tucked it up under the original flare and used some self-tapping screws with silicone on the threads to ward off rust. I used a heat gun to help follow the contours of the original flare. I kept the rounded edge facing out and the flat portion inside. Sounds a little confusing but you will have to live up to your moniker and "tinker" with it a little. I hope this helps.
