windshield replacement

I am thinking of replacing my windshield with lexan.  Has too many chips and not from offroading - stupid gravel. :'(
Is there a place in town where I can do it?
What do they charge?

Is it still plated for the street? If you plan on street driving it the cops will pinch you, that being said mud and wipers will scratch the crap out of it. I just grab them at PYP and swap them in as needed  ???
