I am looking at putting in a dana 300 in to my 93 yj, but it is a left hand drop. So i am just wondering if it is possible and what would all be needed in order to get it done.

D300 are really versatile. Can be flipped (pass to driver side output) and clocked (for that sleak and trim tummy youve always wanted) and can also be twin sticked (for those front digs youve read about, and tight corners in 2LO).

how does the flip kit work, I have a really good lead on one right now for like 300$ and would like to pick it up just as long as it would work for me.

A flip kit can be purchased from a few vendors in the US. Basically it just "flips" your T-case so your outputs have been reversed. THere is some notching to do internally for oil passages.

If I recall the flip kit is about $300, clocking is $$ on top of that.

A flipped, clocked, twin sticked D300 with 32 spline outputs is similar to an atlas, about $600-750 less. So I guess is time to decide wether to go all out or do this on a budget (if you can call a $1600 T-case budgeting :lol: )
