ok since i have been out of touch for a while let me get this straight,  if we want to volunteer we meet at boomtown 6 oclock tonight (thurday july 9)?

It's not just canmore 

When I go down to Montana, I get three times as many return waves than I ever have in Calgary.

i used to wave lots...  i got sick of people giving me the 'who the hell are you and why are you waving?'  look....... now i only nod to lifted jeeps or wave, as i'm usually checking out their ride as they check out mine.............. that works better methinks......... unless i know someone in the stock jeep

or if i see DOm or Fraser bombing down the road i'll usually hang some body part out the window. (usually an ARM guys... if i could shift and moon people and work the clutch i would seriously consider it)

I second that I only wave at lifted Jeeps. But In RD I still get the funny looks because a lot of soccer Moms are driving 4 door JKs with lifts, bumpers and winches.

I wave but realize that only about 60 percent of them wave back, some with the confused look on there face of who is that. There are so many "yuppies" and "temps"(you know the ones that saw Dukes of Hazard, Sahara or Tomb Raider and want in on the "Cool" factor) in the jeeps that the just don't realize that this is a lifestyle not just a vehicle....kinda like Harleys now.....

Like I say to all the guys(and gals).....Just cause you own a jeep.......doesn't necessarily make you a Jeeper!!!
