Me = not very smart

So I have my Bikini top with Tonneau and Wind Jammer, EXCEPT I didn't have my door surrounds on which in turn, because of this great Calgary weather we are having, rain pooled and ran down my side doors and all over my floor/seats. Water was up to my ankles.  I used a wet vac to suck up as much water as possible, but I can imagine that mold will show up soon enough. Any tips on what type of cleaner or how to clean it WITHOUT ripping out the carpet and replacing it? or am I kinda screwed where I should just replace the carpet regardless?

If it's a TJ, It takes all of 5 minutes to strip all the carpet out (it's in about 4 pieces and you don't have to remove the seats or console).
And don't worry about mold or replacing the carpet, just let it dry out and re-install.
Jeep really did use waterproof carpet in the TJ's.

dude, its a wrangler, carpet is for cherokees. they need the warmth of carpet and a solid roof. you just need a steel floor with drain plugs;)

pull the carpet . .and the drain plugs and just leave your doors open and the top off for a hour or 2 and the seats will dry and they are anti rot foam so you should be ok ..

this has happened about 5 times to me since i work out of town and my jeep is parked in calgary during the day and it rains when ever it feels in this little town

Just from experience, leave the drain plugs out, heck, huck them out. If it's wet/deep enough to get your outdoor carpets wet UP through the drain holes, your going to want to let the flood recede. It will get dirty, it's a jeep. Hose it out when done and let it dry. My carpets only go back in for winter. Spray em down with carpet cleaner and pressure wash em. They dry quickly on a warm day, just lay them out in the sun.

Thanks very much for all of your help. Thought I might be dealing with a mold problem, but it looks like I might be A-ok! Wait a minute... is that SUN that I can dry my stuff in?! Haven't seen it in a while  ;)
