find a used ax-5 buddy. time to learn how to wrench on your vehicle...... i'm no parts store, but the parts you are asking for (assuming you find a good used tranny) aren't 600$..............

hit up kijiji and look for a tranny.  and learn how to do this stuff (if you have a garage)  otherwise you will learn the hard way that 'wheeling is expensive' (it is anyway)
good luck man

my other problem is that my front hub bearings are "loose" and about to go and also my front u joint
this has been estimated at my shop for 1250 with labour and everything

and im pretty sure its the ax-5 i could be wrong its running off the 2.5l 4 cyl

hubs for 1250? buy the parts (just as tinkerer said) and get me a fancy air compressor from Canadian tire (200$)
bring it over to my place and i'll help you switch them out yourself. you can save 800$ AND learn how to swap out a unit bearing............ oh, bring beer too............. (and leave the air compressor :D )
