Make sure the zipper works for when they fog up. And I hope you have some long underwear. :-[

Im guessing the heater wont be enough then, I was reading blogs everywhere and people were
saying that the jeep heaters are good. I have used mine and it is hot but i dont know if it will be hot enough.
So im guessing by 'Hope you have long underwear' means they are not the best for winter.

I have owned a CJ, YJ and now a TJ and none of them have been great in -20 or lower...they just keep blowing heat and it makes no difference. It is just enough to keep the front window from fogging.

i have owned 2 TJ's with soft uppers and soft tops.
i never got cold in winter, seriously.
the windows never fogged up as i loved the fact that the air was able to circulate through with no problems. i always felt that was an advantage with soft top and soft windows all around...no fog issues. to clarify the doors are soft windows.

my only warning is that at -30, the windows act like fragile glass and trees hitting them cause them to shatter...brrrr. :-[

So you don't just want to replace the glass instead?
