Christmas Toy Run
« on: October 02, 2009, 09:59:44 PM »
I know it's only October... too early to think about Christmas... but I was just wondering if the CJA is planning on doing a toy run this year for the Children's Hospital.  If so, I will start to think about advertising this at the school/daycare where I work.  I am sure many of the families would be more than happy to donate to this cause!

Thanks, K.

Things will be a bit different this year. Possibly a poker run instead of the caravan. Suggestions are welcome. We will still be collecting toys for charity though and dressing up your rig will still be a big part of it.

Could I possibly join in on this too?
Heard about it on JF, and loved the idea.
Would liked to meet new people, and just have a good time.

The event is open to everyone with a 4X4 and usually takes place around mid December. More details will follow as we get closer to Xmas.

The date for this has been set, Dec.12.

We're also shaking things up a bit this year and going with a different format, sorry no convoy, but hopefully you'll find this better!

Too bad... I would like to attend to both but i'm going camping  :-[.

May be we can still contribute and put a bunch of gifts together for the kids anyways  (for the ones that are going camping)... we can't forget the kids!
