Winch wiring
« on: October 18, 2009, 11:48:57 AM »
I finally wired my winch up (after 5 months of having it) :o.  Is this the right way to do it so I dont burn the Jeep down?  I have it grounded to the negative battery post, the hot cable tot he positive(only thing on that post) and the power for the fuse block etc. coming off the second positive terminal.

Get some battery post adapters that have the marine style wing nuts on them...this way if you ever have to disconnect your winch (or anything else) in a hurry, it's a matter of just spinning off the wing nuts.
