YJ door glass replacement

Could someone give me some tips on how to remove the glass from a YJ drivers door and install it again

remove window crank. there is a retainer clip behind it. remove door panel. install window crank without retainer. adjust until you can see how the window is attached to the manual regulator.  detach window from regulator. lower regulator to bottom. lower glass by hand to near bottom. tilt glass toward front of jeep. slowly lift glass out.

There was a few more steps than that ,  see Chiltons.  I never thought to look there in the first place.
