Try this but do it carefully.
If you have an air compressor.
Take blowgun, wrap a rag around the gun and stick it in the filler hole. Add air. the vent will let it out, but you only need about 10 PSI to lift fuel. See if you can get it running that way. You may have got a chunk of crap in a check valve.
Use caution and don't have any open flames near by this will push alot of vapour out of the tank.

i'll give that a try but i'm giving jeep stuff a call towmorrow to see if i can get a pump

Forgot to say you'll need another person.
one to add air to the tank and one to turn the key.
You'll have to keep giving it air to keep pressure in the tank since the vent line will bleed it off

got a new pump from jeep stuff and the truck runs great, thxx for any info any of you have provided

Nice.... so glad to hear its all fixed!  You should of told me you were from the Jeep Assoc and I could have given you the 10% discount.  Next time you need something I will take care of that!
