ARB makes a basket, the SportRack system from Canadian Tire and the Yakima system will all work

Moderan can get you racks also you may want to have a look at http://www.equipt1.com/h/ and http://www.campinglab.com/index.html
Why does your Jeep say Toyota on it?
The obstacle is the path.

Most baskets bolt to the stock rails so they aren't any stronger. After years of wheeling with the spare on the roof I pulled out some of the nut serts.

I had Thule rails on my old XJ that clamped onto the rain gutter. They held up well but would slide back on the rails when going thru heavy brush/branches. Two self tapping screws in each foot solved that problem. They even survived the roll over and got transferred to my Dad's XJ.
