Best Limited slip/posi

So I'm looking at buying a limited slip for my'91 cherokee with a dana 35.    I am set on a LSD as it is a daily driver for the most part.  Anyone have good experience with a good LSD?  I have read good things about auburn limited slips.

I've heard auburn's are the tightest clutch pack style.  I'm going to be trying truetracs though.

A front locker is going to handle slightly different than a rear locker in a D35.

if you want a LSD and not a full locker then tru-tracs are probably your best bet. they are a gear type LSD. no clutches to wear out or fluid additives to use. some companies use the tru-trac style as an oem LSD. you could find an oem LSD from the gear centre for less but it will wear out eventually and the additive will be needed. as well i am unsure if they would have something for the front diff if you want to do both.
or, ive used a lock-right (same idea as aussie) for years in the rear of my jeep when it was a DD. i got used to it and enjoy the way it handled winter and summer. i put one in my current DD because life without a locker is pointless.

Do you have a stick or auto? If you have an auto  I would seriously consider a lockright. I found when my Jeep was a stick that the  lockright was very annoying but once I converted it to an automatic the mannerism of the locker were greatly improved and after I got used to it it was almost unnoticeable.

 Obviously a selectable locker would be the best choice but they are expensive.

That is one of my main reasons for not wanting a locker.  I also am not that hardcore with this Jeep as it is my DD.  The limited slip would just be for the occasional run or for hunting and such.

why spend oney on  a D35? ive learned my lesson.     why not get a 8.25 with a factory limited slip from a newer xj?   better housing, more splines. etc for not much cost unless you really want a built axle but sounds like you want cheap and simple.

I think waytec has a 8.25 with a locker in it for sale.... but I could be wrong....
