Where is the campground in relation to the gravel pit.  Is it the campground by the cadet camp.

I will be there.  (No Winch or CB),  

basically stock 2003 TJ with better tires (Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac)  

What exatly qualifies for rear tow hooks?  I have factory hooks on the front for sure, but I am not sure about the back but I do have a reciever hitch on the back.

We will be starting at the camp ground on the Waiparous Valley Road-we should be there by 9:30 to do
waivers and air down
NOTE everyone coming from Calgary will meet at Smittys for 8:30-we all travel togther in and out!!
Remember to read all the requirements,top up with gas before we meet at Smittys,bring good attitudes
and lets have some fun

This quote got me curious:
1)  Where is a convenient (easy to find) place to fuel up in Cochrane? (from Smittys)
2) I assume that a full tank of fuel is enough for the day...is that a safe assumption? (or is a fuel stop scheduled)

Is this info already in a FAQ somewhere that I simply couldn't find? ( it just occurred to me a FAQ which details the requirements for open runs and explaining why might be pretty helpful for us newbs)

yeh a reciever hitch with a clevis passes for rear tow point .

Not sure what a clevis is nor if I have one.

If you have a 2" receiver you can buy D-clevis adapter for it for ~35$ most places.

just be careful with what kind of hitch you have, I had my class 1 hitch taken off and a tow point put on. I wasn't comfortable thinking about the person pulling me out with a dinky class 1 hitch (supposedly good for up to 2000lbs)
