Treadmill runs but doesnt Walk??
« on: March 06, 2010, 02:43:22 AM »
I have a smooth fitness 7.35 treadmill that when i start up, goes immediately into "run" mode...i have tried applying belt dressing to it, but no matter what the thing wont go into walk...almost killed me!  I have searched alomost 100 forums and still nothing...any ideas?

What kind of dressing did you use? I prefer a raspberry vinaigrette.

I'm no treadmill tech but... as an unlicensed therapist on the run from the law... my professional opinion is your treadmill is tired of taking you for walks and is challenging you to "be all you can be". I would either take it up on its challenge,  grab a hammer & show it who's boss or stick it out in the rain along with that Ikea lamp  ;)

i think a different approach is needed.
Jog on the spot for 5mins to warm up.
Start treadmill.
Jump on and start running fast.
End result is you will get in shape...faster ;D

Might i suggest...

http://www.justanswer.com/electronics/exercise-equipment/treadmill?r=ppc%7cga%7c6%7cExercise+-+Equipment%7cTreadmill&JCRN=Treadmill+Techs&JRA=913286%3b2035554&JPKW=treadmill+stuck&JPDC=S&JPST=&JPAD=3968695672&JPAF=txt&JPCD=20090212-2&JPRC=1&gclid=COiR6PzipKACFQwhDQodeGWOaw

...and asking them your question.    Since we all know that no websites online are invented just to collect personal information... im sure these guys are totally the real deal and do in fact have 4 Treadmill technicians standing by to answer your question.   haha

Makes ya wonder if we was thinking "less weight" or "safety" when he "took his bling off" & "put down the scissors" before throwin down. Either way... I'm confused that he kept his flip flops on... man did those things fly  :o
